Description
It can be found in moist sandy places, on the edge of gutters, on the shores of lakes and rivers, both on plains and in higher areas. It flowers from May up to late autumn.
The entire plant has been used in the food industry, especially the young leaves and stolons for salads, vegetable soups etc. The plant has therapeutic value for human and veterinary medicine.
Use
It is used under the form of tea, decoction, hydroalcoholic extract. It has astringent, healing, haemostatic properties.
